Community

Ponoka Christian School students are encouraged to promote and encourage faith in God and service to others.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have to serve others as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10 NIV

There are many opportunities to be involved within the school and the local and global community.

PCS students have the opportunity to voice their opinions in school by joining Student Leadership. Here, they can help set goals and priorities for events associated with our school.  Junior High students participate in leadership activities via options classes.

Students can also partake in the Christmas concert, which is enjoyed by school supporters at the Rimoka and Centennial Centre. The Christmas program is also often performed for local seniors at Legacy Place and for shut-ins at the Centennial Centre for Mental Health and Brain Injury.

There are a number of service activities students can engage in at local ministries.
